AI Content & Data Processing
Markd utilizes advanced AI technology (powered by Google Gemini or OpenRouter) to assist in scanning and parsing timetables from images or PDF files. When you use the "Scan Timetable" feature:
- Images or documents you provide are transmitted to the selected AI provider's servers for processing.
- This data is used solely to extract text and generate schedule entries for your app.
- Processing is handled securely in accordance with the respective provider's terms: Google AI Terms or OpenRouter Terms.
App Permissions
To provide its core functionality, Markd requires the following permissions:
- Camera: To take photos of your physical timetables for AI parsing.
- Storage/Media: To import timetable images/PDFs and export attendance reports (Excel/PDF).
- Notifications: To send reminders about upcoming classes and schedule changes.
Security
We value your trust in providing us your information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
